On September 10 Sia will headline a free concert in Ohio sponsored by the pro-abortion All Access Coalition advocating for free abortions. Sia will be alongside Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones and former Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams. The All Access Coalition is made up of the ACLU, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and the NARAL Pro-Choice America Foundation.
According to Daily News, Ohio was picked because it is a “state with ‘trigger laws,’ meaning that if Roe v. Wade were overturned, abortion would automatically be made illegal.” Wow, wouldn’t that be tragic? (insert sarcasm)
To draw in millennials
The whole purpose of this All Access concert is to entice more young people into the pro-abortion movement and to call for taxpayer-funded all access abortions. This is a pretty wild appeal to make when polls show that young Americans do not support taxpayer dollars going toward abortions, even if they don’t identify as pro-life. No wonder these organizations are throwing free concerts; they’re desperate for supporters!
We assume that the All Access Coalition chose Sia because she has a young fan base and it wants to draw in millennials. Whenever Sia has a well-attended appearance, she chooses to hide her face by wearing a large wig over her face. But, whether or not she hides her appearance, she is not holding back her opinion on abortion. “All Access is such an inclusive group that I’m proud to be a part of this. We all need to stand together and be a part of creating the future we hope to see. There is so much support out there for an inclusive, equitable society that it’s time we showed our collective power,” said the popstar.
Now we at Life Defenders actually agree with part of her very vague quote. We agree that there is a lot of support for an inclusive, equitable society; it’s called the culture of life. The culture of life promotes the equality of every single human being—no matter their race, color, circumstance, or even financial situation. Every person is unique and deserves the right to life! Maybe Sia needs to take a look at the other side.
So while these pro-aborts are having a strange abortion-supporting concert, we will be participating in our See Dignity day! That’s right; the concert and our day to honor the preborn both fall on September 10! Please join us as we lovingly show the culture of life by doing acts of kindness for mothers and the preborn. Let’s make our nationwide acts of kindness such a success that our impact on the culture is larger by a thousand times than the impact on young people this abortion concert is supposed to have!
