We know that the way to build a culture of life is by lovingly getting our message on respecting human dignity out to as many people as possible. This means we need to be actively pro-life in order to change hearts and minds! So, we have compiled a list of pro-life events that are perfect for pro-life students and pro-life club events.
1. #SeeDignity Day for the Preborn
Date: September 10
Event: Take this one day to publicly See Dignity in the preborn by doing random acts of kindness for tiny babies. Take a photo performing your act of kindness and share it with #SeeDignity. We even have a list of sample acts of kindness here.
2. National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children
Date: September 10
Event: Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life, and the Pro-Life Action League are calling on pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites of our aborted brothers and sisters. To learn more, click here. (This could also be your act of kindness for #SeeDignity.)
3. Life Chain Sunday
Event: Churches across each city and town in North America are invited to stand on a designated local sidewalk and pray for 90 minutes while holding a pro-life sign. To learn more, click here.
4. National Pro-Life Cupcake Day
Event: Gather your friends together to make cupcakes in honor of those children who never got to celebrate a birthday because of abortion. Passing them out to strangers is an inviting way to start conversation and potentially educate individuals about the effects of abortion. To learn more, click here.
5. Pro-Life Silent Day of Solidarity
Event: People from all over this nation will give up their voices by wearing red duct tape around their mouths for a day in solidarity with the children murdered by abortion. To learn more, click here.
6. American Life League’s Pro-Life Pumpkin Contest
Event: Take your pro-life activism to your front porch! All you have to do is carve a pro-life message into a pumpkin and post a photo of it with #ProLifePumpkin. Three people will win a free T-shirt! To learn more, click here.
7. #SeeDignity Day for the Elderly
Date: December 5
Event: On this day, we See Dignity in the elderly who are targeted as the primary victims of euthanasia. Honor them by performing at least one act of kindness toward an older individual. You could visit an elderly home, spend time with an older loved one, or come up with something on your own. If you need help finding something to do, visit our site.
8. The March for Life
Event: The March for Life is an opportunity to witness to the beauty of life and the dignity of each human person by peacefully marching on our nation’s capital. To learn more, click here.
9. SeeDignity Day for Women
Event: Women and their children are the targets of abortion, so we spend this day honoring women! See Dignity in every woman by uplifting her through random acts of kindness. For more information, and sample acts of kindness, click here.
10. National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day
Event: On this day, Americans across the nation will wear their favorite pro-life T-shirts while at school, at home, or out in public. Make sure you share a picture on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter using #NPLTD17! For more information, click here.
11. #SeeDignity Day for Those with Disabilities
Date: June 1, 2017
Event: Individuals with disabilities, such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, birth defects, ADHD, and more are sometimes mistakenly seen as a “burden.” We take this day to See Dignity and honor individuals with disabilities by doing random acts of kindness for them.
