On Friday, January 19, hundreds of thousands of committed pro-life children, youth, and adults will come together to march on our nation’s capital to defend the lives of the most innocent among us. Each year we are blown away by the busloads of young people who joyfully come out to stand up for the little babies. This year we hear it will be a huge turnout; we cannot wait to see!
Whether this is your first march or you’ve attended for years, here are some great tips to help you make the most out of this memorable day.
Being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of joyful pro-life people will leave you with a feeling of awe. Don’t forget to bring a camera or use your phone to capture that special memory.
2. Hand warmers
Washington, DC in January is COLD. You will probably be outside for a few hours standing around at the rally and then marching during the procession. We recommend getting some hand warmers to help your fingers and toes during those hours you’re standing still.
You can’t go to the March for Life without holding a sign! Sometimes the best part of the March for Life is looking around at all of the beautiful homemade pro-life signs. If you don’t have time to make one, we have some here online.
4. Pro-life swag
It’s easy to become dehydrated when you’re cheering, walking, and talking during the march. Make sure to take a bottle with you for when you start to get thirsty.
We hope to see you all at the March for Life. Come find us as the March for Life Expo in the Renaissance Downtown Hotel at the American Life League booth, #118.
